Prior to providing services, licensees and persons granted a temporary practice authorization must provide each client with a professional disclosure statement consistent with the content and in a format as specified in OAR Chapter 833 Division 75. When providing disclosure statements via electronic communication, licensees and temporary practitioners must ensure a means of documenting confirmation of receipt and acknowledgement of the PDS.

Philosophy and Approach: My counseling approach is rooted in person-centered, attachment-based therapy.  I believe that an authentic, trusting relationship between counselor and client is the foundation for change, and serves as a powerful launching pad for including other therapeutic strategies and skills that best fit with your intentions, hopes and goals. I often incorporate emotion-focused therapy and Internal Family Systems therapy into my work as increased connection to and awareness of the roots of your own emotional experience can be a powerful catalyst for change. Ultimately, I listen to you, learn about you and from you, and draw from a range of therapeutic strategies I have experience with, in order to find those that are the best fit for you in this moment.

Formal Education: I hold a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Portland State University.

Major Coursework Description: My major coursework includes human development, diagnosis and treatment planning, theories and techniques of counseling, group counseling, counseling ethics and core counseling skills. My training includes work in community counseling and college counseling clinics.

Fees: My fee range is $120-$185 per session. Sessions are 50 minutes. Fee is payable at the beginning of each session. I currently offer only out-of-network services, and do not bill insurance.  I can provide you with a “superbill” to submit to your insurance for potential reimbursement.
